Technical and functional integration between ERP and Modula
We connected Komatsu Peru’s ERP with Modula through HTTP communications, combining technical integration work with functional analysis of the processes involved. On the SAP side, the scope included material master migration (MM) and handling WM orders.
HTTP integration
HTTP connections enabled communication between both systems within the agreed scope, bringing together material information and warehouse processes.
Material master · MM
Material master migration formed part of the integration scope. In SAP, this master holds the data identifying and describing materials used across business processes, including data relevant to warehouse management.
Warehouse orders · WM
The work also covered handling WM orders in the connection with Modula. In SAP WM, transfer orders are documents used to execute goods movements within the warehouse. This context links ERP processes with the automated system’s operation.

Modula develops automated storage solutions and warehouse management software. Its equipment and tools support material storage and order picking.
